Based at the bottom of the Howgills, Sedbergh offers an abundance of tracks and trails, up beck and down dale suited to any need or taste.
Come back to a walm fire and a relaxing cup of tea after a stroll up Winder.
In the village of Sedbergh there are a variety of places to eat and drink. At the top of the Fell House recommendation is The Three Hares on Main Street. They offer delicious home made breakfast, lunch, cakes, teas, coffees and gorgeous bread freshly baked on the premises.
For later on in the afternoon, why not pop into the Dalesman for a pint or a cheeky glass of rose.

There is alot more to Sedbergh then the fells that surround it. Sedbergh is Britain's book town and so is home to many unique bookshops on the mainstreet and beyond! Brigflatts, just a short walk out of Sedbergh is one of the most famous Quaker meeting places - visitors are always welcome! Fairfield Mill is also worth a visit. It is a restored Victorian mill housing heritage exhibitions and crafts workshops.
